Understanding the Orders Page

Overview

The Orders page is where you view and manage every order your restaurant receives — past, present, and scheduled. It shows all order details in one list and gives you tools to filter, search, and take action on orders.

How to Get There

In the left sidebar of your restaurant dashboard, click Orders.

Page Layout

Live Indicator

At the top of the page, a green Live dot confirms that the orders page is updating in real time. New orders will appear automatically without needing to refresh.

Status Filter Tabs

Use the tabs across the top to filter orders by their current status:

  • All — Shows every order regardless of status
  • New — Orders that have just come in and are waiting to be accepted
  • Scheduled — Orders placed in advance for a future time
  • In Kitchen — Orders currently being prepared
  • Ready — Orders that are prepared and waiting for pickup or collection
  • Completed — Orders that have been fulfilled
  • Cancelled — Orders that were cancelled
  • Abandoned — Orders that were started by a customer but never completed
  • Date range dropdown — Filter by Today, Last 7 Days, Last 30 Days, or a custom date range
  • Service type dropdown — Filter by All Service Types, Delivery, Takeaway, or Dine-in
  • Search bar — Search by order number (e.g. #ORD-00038) or customer name
