How to Set Maximum Orders per Dine-in Time Slot

How to Set Maximum Orders per Dine-in Time Slot

Overview

The maximum orders per time slot setting helps restaurant owners control how many orders can be scheduled for the same time slot. This can help manage kitchen workload and avoid receiving too many scheduled orders at once.

Where to Find It

Go to Settings → Dine-in → Scheduling.

How to Configure Maximum Orders per Slot

  1. Open the Scheduling tab.
  2. Locate the Max orders per slot setting.
  3. Enter the maximum number of orders you want to allow for each time slot.
  4. Review the number to ensure it matches your restaurant's capacity.
  5. Click Save Scheduling to apply the scheduling settings.

Understanding the Setting

  • Max orders per slot: Defines the maximum number of orders allowed in each scheduling slot.
  • 0: Means there is no configured limit on the number of orders per slot.

Example

Suppose you set the maximum to 10 orders per slot.

The system can allow up to 10 orders for a particular time slot. Once that limit is reached, additional orders for that slot may no longer be available for scheduling.

If you set the value to 0, no maximum order limit is configured through this setting.

Important Notes

  • Choose a limit that matches your kitchen's capacity and expected order volume.
  • The limit applies to each time slot, rather than to the entire day.
  • Other settings, including business hours and scheduling availability, still affect which time slots customers can select.
  • Check the storefront after saving to confirm the available scheduling options.

Final Step

Click Save Scheduling and review your dine-in scheduling options to verify that the settings are configured correctly.
