The Public token is used by the card iframe, while the Private token is used server-side to create the charge.

Step 3: Configure the Clover Connection

In the Connect Clover window, enter the following details.

Enable Clover

Use the toggle at the top of the window to enable or disable Clover as a payment method.

Enable this option if customers must accept your Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy before placing an order using Clover.

The relevant Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy content pages must be activated before this option can be enabled.

The Display Name (Shown to Customers) field controls how Clover appears on your storefront.

  • Enter a custom name if required.
  • Leave it blank to use the provider's default name.

Public Token

Paste the Public token copied from your Clover Dashboard into the Public token field.

Private Token

Paste the Private token into the Private token field. This token is used server-side to create the charge.
Keep the Private token confidential.

Use the merchant identifier associated with the Clover account you are connecting.

Step 4: Save the Configuration

  1. Review the Public token, Private token, and Merchant ID.
