Bambora (Worldline) is an online payment provider available in the restaurant dashboard. Connecting it allows you to configure the gateway for accepting online payments through your storefront.

Step 1: Open Bambora Settings

  1. Log in to your restaurant dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Payments → Payment options.
  3. Under Online payments, click Manage gateways.
  4. Find Bambora (Worldline) and click Connect.

Step 2: Get Your Bambora API Key

  1. Sign in to your Bambora merchant portal.
  2. Navigate to the API settings or credentials section.
  3. Locate the API key required for your integration.
  4. Copy the key securely.

If you cannot find the API key, consult your Bambora (Worldline) account documentation or contact your payment provider.

Step 3: Configure the Connection

In the Connect Bambora (Worldline) window, review the available fields.

Enable the Gateway

Use the toggle at the top of the window to enable or disable Bambora (Worldline) as a payment method.

Enable this option if customers must accept your Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy before placing an order using this gateway.

The relevant legal content pages must be activated before this option can be enabled.

Display Name

The Display Name (Shown to Customers) field controls how the payment method appears on your storefront.

  • Enter a custom name if required.
  • Leave it blank to use the provider's default name.

API Key

Paste the API key from your Bambora merchant portal into the API Key field.

The connection form also allows the API key to populate the merchant and access credentials automatically, or you can enter those details separately.

Merchant Number

If you are entering the credentials separately, enter your Bambora merchant number in the Merchant number field.

Access Token and Secret

If the form requires these fields, enter the corresponding credentials provided by Bambora.
Use credentials associated with the correct merchant account.

Step 4: Save the Configuration

  1. Review the entered credentials.
  2. Confirm that the information belongs to the correct merchant account.
  3. Click Save.
  4. Check the gateway status on the Payment Gateways page.

Step 5: Test the Payment Method

  1. Open your restaurant storefront.
  2. Proceed to checkout with an appropriate test order.
  3. Confirm that Bambora (Worldline) appears as a payment option when enabled.
  4. Test the payment flow before accepting live payments.

Important Notes

  • The API key may populate additional credential fields automatically.
  • If entering credentials separately, ensure that the merchant number, access token, and secret match the same account.
  • Keep all private credentials confidential.
  • Enable the consent requirement only after activating the required legal content pages.
