How to Configure Payment Options

Overview

The Payment Options settings allow restaurant owners to choose which payment methods customers can use at checkout. You can configure custom payment options, connect an online payment gateway, and control which payment methods are available for delivery, pickup, and dine-in orders.

Where to Find Payment Options

  1. Log in to your restaurant dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Settings.
  3. Select Payments.
  4. Open the Payment options page.

1. Configure Custom Payment Options

Custom options allow you to offer payment methods that customers can select at checkout, such as cash on delivery or payment at the counter.

Enable Custom Options

  1. Locate the Custom options section.
  2. Turn on the toggle to enable custom payment methods.
  3. Review the existing payment options.

Add a Custom Payment Option

  1. Click Add custom option.
  2. Enter the name of the payment method in the text field.
  3. Use the toggle beside the option to enable or disable it.
  4. To remove an option, click the X beside it.

Customers can select enabled custom payment methods during checkout.

2. Configure Payment Availability by Service Type

The Availability by service type section lets you control which custom payment methods are available for different order types.

The available service types are:

  • Delivery
  • Pickup
  • Dine-in

To configure availability:

  1. Locate the payment method in the availability table.
  2. Review the columns for Delivery, Pickup, and Dine-in.
  3. Select or clear the checkbox under each service type as required.
  4. Click Save to apply your changes.

If you leave a service-type row unchanged, the payment method remains available for all service types, as indicated on the page.

3. Connect an Online Payment Gateway

The Online payments section lets you connect an online payment provider for your storefront.

  1. Locate the Online payments section.
  2. Review the current gateway connection status.
  3. Click Manage gateways.
  4. Select the payment provider you want to configure.
  5. Enter the credentials required by that provider.
  6. Review the configuration and click Save.
