How to Configure Dine-in Time Slots and First Order Offset
Overview
Dine-in scheduling settings control the intervals between available order times and when the first time slot becomes available after the restaurant opens.
You can adjust these settings to match your restaurant's operating schedule and order preparation workflow.
Where to Find It
Go to Settings → Dine-in → Scheduling.

How to Configure the Time Gap Between Slots
- Open the Scheduling tab.
- Enable Schedule Advance Orders.
- Find Time gap between slots.
- Select the interval you want between available slots. Options shown in the settings include 30 minutes, 1 hour, 2 hours, 3 hours, and 4 hours.
- Review your selection before saving.
A shorter interval provides more frequent scheduling options, while a longer interval spaces them further apart.
How to Configure the First Order Offset
- Find First order offset (minutes).
- Enter the number of minutes you want to add before the first available slot.
- Review the value to ensure it suits your restaurant's schedule.
The offset is used to delay the first available slot relative to the start of the applicable operating period.
Example
Suppose your dine-in service starts at 12:00 PM and you set the first order offset to 15 minutes.
The first available slot may begin at 12:15 PM, depending on your other scheduling settings.
If you choose a 30-minute time gap, subsequent slots will be spaced at 30-minute intervals, subject to the available operating hours.
Important Notes
- Time gap between slots and First order offset control different aspects of scheduling.
- The available slots also depend on your dine-in business hours and advance booking limits.
- Confirm that the configured times suit your restaurant's actual operating schedule.
Save Your Changes
Click Save Scheduling to apply the updated settings. Review the dine-in storefront to confirm that the available time slots appear as expected.
