What Happens When Pickup Hours Are Not Enabled?

If you do not enable separate operating hours for the Takeaway/Pickup service, the system will automatically use your restaurant's default business hours.

This means you do not need to configure separate pickup hours unless you want takeaway orders to follow different timings from your regular business hours.

Where Are the Default Business Hours Set?

The default business hours are configured in:

Settings → Restaurant Profile → Opening Hours

These are the business hours that were set for your restaurant profile.

What Happens When Pickup Hours Are Disabled?

If Set different operating hours for Pickup service is turned OFF, the system uses the Restaurant Profile's business hours for pickup service.

Example:

Your Restaurant Profile has:

Monday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

If separate Pickup Hours are not enabled, takeaway/pickup service will also follow:

Monday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

When Should You Enable Separate Pickup Hours?

Enable separate Pickup Hours when your takeaway service operates on different timings from your regular restaurant hours.

Example:

Restaurant opening hours:

10:00 AM – 11:00 PM

Pickup hours:

11:00 AM – 10:00 PM

In this case, enable Set different operating hours for Pickup service and configure the required pickup hours.

Quick Summary

Pickup Hours OFF → The system uses your Restaurant Profile business hours.
Pickup Hours ON → The system uses the custom pickup hours you configure.
Default business hours can be found under Settings → Restaurant Profile → Opening Hours.

Important: If you want takeaway/pickup to have different operating hours, make sure you enable Set different operating hours for Pickup service and configure the hours accordingly.
