How to Set Up Payment Options

How to Set Up Payment Options

Overview

The Payment Options settings let you choose how customers can pay for their orders. You can offer custom in-person payment methods (like cash or card at the counter) and connect an online payment gateway so customers can pay digitally at checkout.

How to Get There

  1. In the left sidebar, click Settings.
  2. Click Payment options.

Custom Payment Options (In-Person / Pay Later)

Custom options are payment methods where the customer pays when they collect their order or after the meal — not through the online checkout.

The page comes pre-configured with two common options:

  • Pay cash at counter
  • Pay via card at Counter

Enabling or Disabling Custom Options

Toggle the switch on the right of each option to enable or disable it. Customers will only see the options you have enabled at checkout.

Adding a New Custom Option

  1. Click + Add custom option.
  2. Enter a name for the payment method (e.g. Pay by bank transfer, Pay via UPI).
  3. Toggle it on to make it active.

Turning Off All Custom Options

Toggle the main Custom options switch at the top of the section to Off to hide all custom payment options from checkout at once.

Online Payments (Card / Digital Wallet)

Online payments allow customers to pay directly through your storefront using a card, UPI, digital wallet, or other digital method.

Online payments require the Growth plan. If you are on the Basic plan, you will see an upgrade prompt in this section.

Connecting a Payment Gateway

  1. Click Manage gateways.
  2. You will see a list of supported payment gateways. Choose the one that suits your region and business:
    • Stripe — Cards, Apple Pay, Google Pay via Stripe Checkout (global)
    • Razorpay — Cards, UPI, netbanking, wallets — preferred for Indian Rupee transactions
    • PayPal — PayPal balance, debit/credit cards via PayPal hosted checkout
    • SumUp — Cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay via SumUp hosted checkout
    • Xendit — Cards, e-wallets, virtual accounts, and QRIS via Xendit hosted checkout
    • Authorize.Net — Cards via the Authorize.Net Accept Hosted payment page
  1. Click Connect on your preferred gateway.
  2. Follow the gateway's setup steps to link your account.

Note: You can only connect one online payment gateway at a time. To switch gateways, disconnect the current one first and then connect the new one.
