How to Set Multiple Dine-in Time Slots

Overview

Where to Find ItIf your restaurant operates during more than one period in a day, you can configure multiple dine-in time slots. This allows you to set separate operating periods, such as lunch and dinner.

Go to Settings → Dine-in → Dining Hours.

How to Add Multiple Time Slots

Open the Jade & Ember Dining Hours tab.
Make sure Set different operating hours for Jade & Ember Dining service is enabled.
Find the day for which you want to configure multiple time slots.
Make sure the day's Open toggle is enabled.
Under Hours, select the opening and closing times for the first time slot.
Click + Add slot to add another time slot.
Select the opening and closing times for the additional slot.
Repeat these steps if you need more time slots for that day.
Click Save Hours to save your changes.

Example

Suppose your restaurant serves dine-in customers during these periods:

Lunch: 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM
Dinner: 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM

How to Remove a Time Slot: Configure the first slot for 9:00 AM–2:00 PM, then click + Add slot and configure the second slot for 6:00 PM–10:00 PM.

Find the time slot you want to remove.
Click the X button beside that slot.
Review the remaining hours.
Click Save Hours.

Important Notes

You can configure different time slots for different days.
Multiple slots allow you to represent separate operating periods without marking the entire day as continuously open.
Make sure the opening and closing times reflect your actual dine-in operating hours.
Review the storefront after saving to verify that dine-in availability is displayed as expected.

Final Step

Click Save Hours after adding, editing, or removing time slots.
