How to Set a Minimum Order Value for Dine-in

Overview

The Minimum Order Value setting allows restaurant owners to define the minimum order amount required for dine-in orders. This helps establish a minimum spending requirement for the dine-in service.

Where to Find It

Go to Settings → Dine-in → Time & Charges.

How to Set the Minimum Order Value

  1. Open the Time & Charges tab.
  2. Locate Minimum Order Value.
  3. Enter the minimum amount you want to require for dine-in orders.
  4. Review the amount to ensure it matches your restaurant's policy.
  5. Click Save charges to save your changes.

Example

Suppose you set the Minimum Order Value to ₹200.

This configures a minimum order amount of ₹200 for dine-in service. Check your storefront to confirm how the minimum requirement is displayed and applied during ordering.

Important Notes

  • Enter an amount that matches your restaurant's dine-in policy.
  • Review the value before saving to avoid setting an incorrect minimum.
  • If you do not want to enforce a minimum, check the field's supported behavior in your dashboard before deciding whether to leave it at zero or use another value.
  • This setting is separate from delivery and takeaway minimum order settings.

Final Step

Click Save charges and review the dine-in storefront to confirm that the setting is configured as intended.
