How to Search and Filter Table Reservations
How to Search and Filter Table Reservations
Overview
The Reservations dashboard provides search and filtering options to help restaurant owners find specific bookings and review reservations by status, date, or party size.
These tools make it easier to manage upcoming bookings and locate reservation details without manually reviewing the entire list.
Where to Find It

- Log in to your restaurant admin dashboard.
- Select Reservations from the main menu.
- Use the search field and filters displayed above the reservation list.
1. Search Reservations by Name or Phone
- Locate the search field labelled Search name or phone.
- Enter the guest's name or phone number.
- Review the results displayed in the reservation list.
- Click Manage next to the relevant booking to view its full details.
2. Filter Reservations by Status
The dashboard provides the following status tabs:
- Pending: Reservations awaiting approval.
- Upcoming: Reservations scheduled for upcoming visits.
- Completed: Reservations marked as completed.
- Cancelled: Reservations that have been cancelled.
- No Show: Reservations where guests did not arrive.
- Rejected: Reservations that were rejected.
- All: View reservations across the available statuses.
Click the relevant tab to review reservations in that category. The number displayed beside each tab indicates the count shown by the dashboard.
3. Filter by Party Size

- Locate the Any party size dropdown.
- Open the dropdown.
- Select the relevant party-size option if available.
- Review the reservations displayed in the results.
This is useful when checking bookings for larger groups or smaller parties.
4. Filter by Date

The dashboard displays date cards, including All Dates and individual dates.
- Select All Dates to view the dates represented in the current reservation list.
- Select a specific date card to review reservations for that date.
- Review the booking times and guest counts.
- Open a reservation using Manage when you need more information.
The date cards also display booking counts for the dates shown.
5. Change the Reservation List View
The dashboard provides two view controls near the top-right of the reservation list.
Select the available view that best suits how you want to review the bookings.

Important Notes
- Search and filter options help you locate reservations; they do not automatically change a booking's status.
- Check the guest name, contact details, date, and time before managing a reservation.
- The displayed counts may change when you select different status tabs or filters.
- Available results depend on the reservations recorded in your dashboard.
Quick Checklist
- Opened the Reservations dashboard.
- Searched by guest name or phone when needed.
- Selected the appropriate status tab.
- Applied the party-size or date filter if required.
- Opened the correct reservation for further management.
