How to Manage Your Restaurant Storefront Theme

The Theme section in Appearance allows you to customize the overall look of your restaurant's storefront and control how menu categories and menu items are displayed to customers.

Where to Find It

Go to:

Settings → Appearance → Theme

1. Choose Your Storefront Theme

You can choose between two themes:

Modern

The Modern theme provides a flexible and visual storefront experience.

It allows you to customize the Storefront Layout and Menu Item Layout according to how you want your menu to appear to customers.

Classic

The Classic theme provides a clean, stacked menu experience with a simpler menu structure.

Important: The Storefront Layout and Menu Item Layout options do not apply when the Classic theme is selected.

2. Storefront Layout

The Storefront Layout controls how your menu is organized and displayed to customers.

You can choose from:

Standard

Displays your menu using the standard storefront layout.

Category

Displays the menu based on categories, making it easier for customers to browse different sections of your menu.

3. Menu Item Layout

The Menu Item Layout controls how individual menu items are displayed.

You can choose from:

List

Displays menu items in a list format, with each item shown in its own row.

Grid

Displays multiple menu items side by side in a grid format.

4. Image Position

The Image setting controls where the food image appears within each menu item.

You can choose from:

Left

The food image appears on the left side of the menu item.

Right

The food image appears on the right side of the menu item.

These layout settings apply to both mobile and desktop.

Example

You can configure your storefront like this:

  • Theme: Modern
  • Storefront Layout: Category
  • Menu Item Layout: Grid
  • Image: Left

This configuration gives customers a Modern storefront organized by categories, with menu items displayed in a grid and the food images positioned on the left.

Tip: Try different combinations of layouts to find the one that best suits your menu and provides the best browsing experience for your customers.
