How to Configure Dine-in Advance Booking Limits
How to Configure Dine-in Advance Booking Limits
Overview
Advance booking limits control how soon and how far into the future customers can schedule dine-in orders.
These settings help you manage the scheduling window offered on your restaurant's storefront.
Where to Find It
Go to Settings → Dine-in → Scheduling.

How to Set Advance Booking Limits
- Open the Scheduling tab.
- Enable Schedule Advance Orders.
- Under Minimum time in advance, enter the minimum waiting time before a customer can schedule an order.
- Select the appropriate unit for the minimum time, such as minutes, hours, or days.
- Under Maximum time in advance, enter the maximum period for which customers can schedule orders.
- Review both values to ensure they match your restaurant's requirements.
- Click Save Scheduling.
Understanding the Settings
- Minimum time in advance: Sets the earliest point at which an order can be scheduled.
- Maximum time in advance: Sets the furthest point into the future that customers can schedule an order.
- Schedule Advance Orders: Must be enabled for customers to schedule future orders.
Example
Suppose you configure:
- Minimum time in advance: 30 minutes
- Maximum time in advance: 30 days
Customers can schedule orders at least 30 minutes ahead, with the scheduling window extending up to 30 days into the future, subject to available dine-in hours and time slots.
Important Notes
- The minimum and maximum advance times work together to define the scheduling window.
- Available slots are also affected by dine-in business hours and the other scheduling settings.
- If advance scheduling is disabled, customers cannot use the future-order scheduling feature.
- Check the storefront after saving to confirm that the scheduling options match your intended configuration.
Final Step
Click Save Scheduling to apply your changes.
