How to Add a Tip to a Delivery Order

Customers can add a tip when placing a delivery order through the restaurant's storefront. They can select one of the suggested tip amounts or enter a custom amount.

Where to Find It

The Tip section appears during checkout when the restaurant has configured tip options.

How to Add a Tip

Add your desired food items to the cart.
Select Delivery as the service type.
Continue to the checkout page.
Scroll to the Tip section.
Choose one of the available options:
- No tip: No tip is added.
- Preset amount: Select a suggested amount, such as ₹10, ₹20, or ₹30.
- Custom: Enter your preferred tip amount.
Review the updated bill summary.
Continue placing your order.

Example

Suppose your food order subtotal is ₹630 and you select a ₹20 tip.

The selected tip adds ₹20 to the order, subject to the restaurant's checkout calculations and any applicable charges.

Important Notes

The available tip amounts depend on the restaurant's tip settings.
Customers can choose No tip if they do not want to leave a tip.
The tip section may not appear if the restaurant has not configured any tip presets.
Review the final bill summary before placing your order.
