How to Configure the Points Loyalty Program
Overview
The Points Loyalty Program allows restaurant owners to reward customers with points for eligible orders. You can configure how customers earn points, choose how they redeem them, customize the rewards currency, and preview how the program appears on the storefront and at checkout.
Changes apply to new orders after saving.
Where to Find It
Log in to your restaurant dashboard and navigate to Grow → Loyalty.

The Loyalty page contains three main areas:
- Setup: Configure the loyalty program.
- Members & activity: Review loyalty members and points activity.
- View Analytics: Review loyalty program performance.

For example, customers can earn 1 point for every ₹10 spent.

Points are earned only on the selected service types.

4. Configure Redeem Criteria

The Redeem Criteria section lets you choose how customers use their points.
Option A: Points as money off
Customers use their points to receive a discount at checkout. Configure these settings:
- Minimum points to redeem: Set the minimum balance required before customers can redeem points.
- Value per 100 points (₹): Set the monetary value of every 100 points.
- Max paid with points: Choose the maximum share of an order that points can cover.
The available maximum redemption options shown are 25%, 50%, 75%, and Whole order.
For example, if 100 points are worth ₹5, then 200 points are worth ₹10 under this configuration.
Option B: Reward tiers
Choose Reward tiers to let customers unlock a free item when they reach specified point levels. Customers can then choose an available reward.
Refer to the reward-tier settings in your dashboard to configure the available rewards and their point requirements.
5. Preview the Customer Experience

The preview panel on the right lets you switch between two views:
- Rewards page: Preview how the rewards currency, customer balance, available rewards, and earning information appear.
- Checkout: Preview how points and redemption information appear alongside an order summary.
Use the Preview balance slider to test how the rewards page looks at different point balances.
The preview helps you review the customer experience before saving your configuration.
6. Understand the Built-in Rules
The dashboard displays the following built-in loyalty rules:
- Points are added only after an order is completed or delivered.
- Cancelled or refunded orders remove the points they earned and return any points used.
- The portion of an order paid for with points or wallet balance does not earn points.
- Guest checkout earns points only after the customer verifies their email.
- Changes to earning rules apply to new orders only; existing balances are not changed.
Review these rules when configuring your program so you understand how points are handled.
