How Customers Are Matched to Delivery Zones
How Delivery Zones Work
When a customer enters a delivery address, the system uses the configured delivery zones to determine delivery availability and the applicable zone settings.
How to Configure a Delivery Zone
- Go to Settings → Delivery.
- Open the Delivery Zone tab.
- Click + Add Delivery Zone or select Edit zone for an existing zone.
- Enter a zone name.
- Make sure the zone is set to Active.
- Configure the service area using the available map and radius settings.
- Set the minimum order value, estimated delivery time, and delivery charges.
- Click Save changes.
Example
Suppose your restaurant has two delivery zones:
Setting | Zone A | Zone B |
|---|---|---|
Service area | Nearby area | Wider area |
Minimum order value | ₹199 | ₹299 |
Delivery fee | ₹30 | ₹60 |
Estimated delivery time | 20 minutes | 40 minutes |
The configured zone determines the delivery conditions that apply to an eligible customer address.
What If a Customer's Address Is Outside the Delivery Area?
If an address is outside your configured delivery zones, the customer may not be eligible for delivery from your restaurant.
To review your coverage:
- Open Settings → Delivery → Delivery Zone.
- Select Edit zone.
- Check the shaded service area on the map.
- Adjust the radius or service area as needed.
- Click Save changes.

- Confirm the storefront's behavior for addresses outside a zone before publishing this article as a definitive troubleshooting guide.
