Configuring Guest Checkout

Configuring Guest Checkout

Guest checkout allows customers to place orders without signing in to an account. You can configure the login mode to determine whether customers can order as guests, sign in using email, or use both options.

How to Enable Guest Checkout

  1. Navigate to Settings → Customer Sign-in.
  2. Locate the Login mode dropdown.
  3. Select Guest + Email login to allow both guest checkout and email login, or select Guest only — no email login to allow customers to order without email-based account login.
  4. Review the guest checkout cart fields.
  5. Configure which contact fields should be displayed and which are required.
  6. Click Save changes.

Configuring Guest Checkout Fields

Under Guest checkout cart fields, you can configure the following:

  • Name — Collect the customer's name.
  • Email — Collect the customer's email address.
  • Phone — Collect the customer's phone number.

Use the Show toggle to control whether a field appears during checkout and the Required toggle to determine whether customers must provide that information.

You can also customize the label displayed for each field.

Enabling Autofill for Returning Guests

Enable Autofill guest details to save guest contact details on the customer's device and pre-fill them the next time they place an order.

Important Notes

  • Guest checkout availability depends on the selected login mode.
  • Configure required fields carefully to avoid preventing customers from completing checkout.
  • Test the customer-facing checkout flow after saving your changes.
