How to Connect Shipday for Delivery Dispatch and Live Tracking
How to Connect Shipday for Delivery Dispatch and Live Tracking
Overview
The Shipday integration allows restaurant owners to dispatch delivery orders to Shipday drivers and track delivery status updates in the restaurant dashboard.
You can connect your Shipday account using an API key and configure webhook settings to synchronize delivery status updates.

Where to Find It

- Log in to your restaurant dashboard.
- Open Settings.
- Select Integrations.
- Find the Shipday card.
- Click Connect.
Step 1: Enter Your Shipday API Key

- Open your Shipday account.
- Navigate to Integrations and locate your API key.
- Copy the API key.
- Return to the Shipday connection window in your restaurant dashboard.
- Paste the key into the API Key field.
The dashboard indicates that the API key is stored encrypted.
Step 2: Configure Auto-Dispatch (Optional)
The connection window includes an Auto-dispatch on accept checkbox.
- Enabled: Delivery orders are automatically sent to Shipday when you accept them.
- Disabled: Orders are not automatically dispatched through this option when accepted.
Choose the setting that matches your restaurant's workflow.
Step 3: Configure the Shipday Webhook
The webhook allows delivery status updates from Shipday to synchronize back to your orders.
- In the connection window, locate the Webhook section.
- Copy the Webhook URL displayed in your dashboard.
- Open your Shipday account.
- Navigate to Settings → Webhook.
- Add the copied URL to the webhook configuration.
- Copy the webhook token provided by Shipday.
- Return to your restaurant dashboard.
- Paste the token into the Webhook Token (from Shipday) field.
Use the exact webhook URL and token displayed or generated for your own connection. Do not use another restaurant's credentials.
Step 4: Save the Connection
- Review the API key, auto-dispatch setting, webhook URL, and webhook token.
- Click Save.
- Return to Settings → Integrations and check the Shipday connection status.
Important Notes
- You need access to your Shipday account to retrieve the API key and configure the webhook.
- Auto-dispatch on accept is optional.
- The webhook URL comes from your restaurant dashboard.
- The webhook token must come from Shipday's webhook settings.
- Keep API keys and webhook tokens private.
- If delivery status updates do not synchronize, verify the webhook configuration and credentials.
