# What If You Can't Add Restaurant Hours?

|| If you are unable to add or change your restaurant's opening hours from the Opening Hours section, you can still use the business hours that were configured when your restaurant was initially created.

## How It Works

The restaurant's opening hours can come from two places:

1. **Business Hours** — The default hours configured when the restaurant/business was created.
2. **Restaurant Opening Hours** — The hours configured separately under **Settings → Restaurant Profile → Opening Hours**.

If you do not add custom restaurant hours, the system will automatically use the **business hours** configured during the initial restaurant setup.

## If You Can't Add Custom Hours

You don't need to worry if you cannot configure separate hours.

The system will continue using your existing **business hours** as the default schedule.

For example, if your business hours were originally set to:

* Monday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
* Tuesday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM
* Wednesday: 10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

these hours will be used unless you configure different restaurant opening hours.

## When Should You Add Restaurant Hours?

You should add custom restaurant hours when your restaurant's operating schedule is different from your original business hours.

For example:

**Business Hours:**
10:00 AM – 10:00 PM

**Restaurant Hours:**
12:00 PM – 9:00 PM

In this case, the restaurant-specific hours can be configured under **Opening Hours**.

## What Should You Do If the Hours Are Incorrect?

If you cannot add or update the restaurant hours and the existing business hours are incorrect, contact your support team for assistance in updating the business hours.

||| Important: If no custom restaurant hours are configured, the system will automatically fall back to the business hours set when the restaurant/business was created.
