# Understanding Your Restaurant Dashboard

## Overview

The **Dashboard** is the first page you see when you open a restaurant in Ressto. It gives you a real-time snapshot of your restaurant's performance today — orders, revenue, and recent activity — all in one place.

## How to Get There

From **My Restaurants**, click **Manage** on any restaurant card. This takes you directly to that restaurant's Dashboard.

## What You'll See on the Dashboard

### Today's Stats

At the top of the page, four key metrics show you how your restaurant is performing right now:

* **Today's Orders** — Total number of orders received today, with a percentage change vs. yesterday
* **Revenue Today** — Total revenue earned today, with a percentage change vs. yesterday
* **Avg Order Value** — The average value of each order today, compared to yesterday
* **New Customers** — Number of new customers today, with a count for the week

### Plan Banner

If you are on the Basic plan, a green banner appears at the top reminding you of your plan limits and offering a quick **Upgrade now** button.

### Restaurant Open / Close Toggle

In the top-right corner, you will see a **Restaurant Open** button showing your current status. Click it to change your restaurant's availability:

* **Open** — Your restaurant is accepting orders
* **Close manually** — Customers cannot order until you reopen
* **Until next hours** — Your restaurant will close temporarily and reopen automatically at the next scheduled opening time

Below the stats, the **Quick Links** section gives you fast access to:

* **Order Taking App** — Download the mobile app to manage orders on your phone
* **WhatsApp Channel** — Follow Ressto updates on WhatsApp
### Recent Orders

On the right side of the Dashboard, the **Recent Orders** panel shows your latest orders with the customer name, order number, service type, amount, and status. Click **View all** to go to the full Orders page.

### Order Mix Today

A breakdown of how today's orders are split between Delivery, Takeaway, and Dine-in services.

### Top Items Today

A list of your best-selling menu items for today.
