# Understanding the Members & Activity Tab in Loyalty

# Understanding the Members & Activity Tab in the Loyalty Program

## Overview

The **Members & activity** tab helps restaurant owners review loyalty program participation, outstanding points,
reward redemptions, and repeat customer activity. It also displays a recent activity table showing points events across loyalty members.

## Where to Find It

1. Log in to your restaurant dashboard.
2. Navigate to **Grow → Loyalty**.
3. Click the **Members & activity** tab.

The page contains four summary cards and a **Recent activity** table.

## 1. Understand the Summary Cards

### Total Members

Displays the total number of members in the loyalty program.

In the screenshot, the dashboard shows **6 members**.

### Outstanding Points

Displays the total loyalty points currently held by customers, along with an approximate monetary value.
The example shows **2,630 points ≈ ₹132**.

This figure represents outstanding points rather than only points earned during a particular reporting period.

### Rewards Redeemed (30 days)

Displays the number of rewards redeemed during the last 30 days.

The screenshot shows **0**.

### Repeat Rate: Members vs Non-members

Compares the repeat rate of loyalty members with that of non-members.

In the example, the dashboard shows:

* Loyalty members: **40%**
* Non-members: **0%**

Use this comparison to review the repeat activity displayed by the dashboard. Results may vary depending on customer activity and the available data.

## 2. Review the Recent Activity Table

The **Recent activity** section displays the latest points events across loyalty members.

The table contains six columns:

* **Customer:** The customer associated with the points event.
* **Event:** The type of event, such as *Earned on order* or *Welcome bonus*.
* **Order:** The order number associated with the event.
* **Points:** The number of points added or recorded for the event.
* **Balance:** The customer's points balance shown after the event.
* **Date:** The date associated with the activity.

### Example of Reading an Activity Record

Suppose a row displays:

* Customer: John Smith
* Event: Welcome bonus
* Order: #ORD-00021
* Points: +250
* Balance: 250

This indicates that a welcome bonus of 250 points was recorded for the customer, with a displayed balance of 250 points after the event.

Another row for the same customer and order shows **Earned on order** with **+132 points** and a balance of **382**. This shows the subsequent points event and the balance displayed for that record.

Use the order number, event, points, balance, and date together when reviewing a customer's activity.

## 3. Use the Activity Information

The Members & activity page can help you:

* Review the total number of loyalty members.
* Check outstanding points and their displayed monetary equivalent.
* Review the number of rewards redeemed during the last 30 days.
* Compare the repeat rates shown for members and non-members.
* Review recent points events and their associated order numbers.
* Trace the recorded points activity and displayed balances for a customer.

## Important Notes

* The figures in the summary cards reflect the data displayed in the dashboard and may change as activity is recorded.
* Outstanding points are different from points issued during a selected reporting period.
* The **Rewards redeemed (30 days)** card specifically refers to the last 30 days.
* The Recent activity table shows the latest points events; do not assume it contains a complete historical record of every event.

## Quick Checklist

* Open **Grow → Loyalty**.
* Select **Members & activity**.
* Review Total Members.
* Check Outstanding Points and the displayed monetary value.
* Review Rewards redeemed (30 days).
