# How to Use the Menu Report

# How to Use the Menu Report

|| The Menu Report shows how your menu items are performing based on quantity sold and revenue generated for a selected period.

## How to Get There

1. Go to **Reports** from the left sidebar.
2. Select **Menu Report**.

## Date Range

Use the date filter to select the period you want to analyze.

Available options:

* **Today**
* **Yesterday**
* **Last 7 Days**
* **Last 30 Days**
* **This Month**
* **Last Month**
* **Custom**

Select **Custom** to choose a specific date range.

## Menu Item Details 

The report displays:

* **Item Name** — Name of the menu item.
* **Quantity** — Number of times the item was sold during the selected period.
* **Revenue** — Revenue generated by that item.

This helps you identify which menu items are selling the most and which items are generating the most revenue.

## Total

At the bottom of the report, the **Total** row shows:

* **Total Quantity** — Combined quantity of all items shown in the report.
* **Total Revenue** — Combined revenue generated by the displayed items.

## Customize Columns

Click the **Columns** button next to the Export button to choose which information you want to display.

The Menu Report currently provides these columns:

* **Quantity**
* **Revenue**

You can select or deselect the columns according to your requirements.

Click **Reset to default** to restore the default column selection.

## Export Menu Report

Click the **Export** button to choose an export format.

Available formats are:

* **CSV**
* **Excel (Only Microsoft Excel)**
* **PDF**

Select your preferred format to export the Menu Report.

## Example

If you want to check your menu performance for the **last 7 days**:

1. Go to **Reports → Menu Report**.
2. Select **Last 7 Days**.
3. Review the **Item Name, Quantity, and Revenue**.
4. Use the **Columns** button if you want to customize the displayed information.
5. Click **Export**.
6. Select **CSV, Excel, or PDF** to download the report.

| This makes it easy to identify your best-selling items and the revenue generated by each menu item.
