# How to Troubleshoot Shipday Integration Issues

# How to Troubleshoot Shipday Integration Issues

## Overview

The Shipday integration allows restaurant owners to dispatch delivery orders and synchronize delivery status updates with their restaurant dashboard.

If Shipday is not connecting correctly, delivery orders are not being dispatched automatically, or delivery status updates are not appearing, follow the troubleshooting steps below.

## 1. Check the Shipday Connection

1. Log in to your restaurant dashboard.
2. Navigate to **Settings → Integrations**.
3. Locate the Shipday integration.
4. Check its connection status.
5. If the integration is not connected, open its configuration and review the API key.

## 2. Verify the API Key

An incorrect or outdated API key may prevent the integration from connecting.

1. Log in to your Shipday Dispatch Dashboard.
2. Navigate to **Integrations → API Credentials**.
3. Locate and copy your API key.
4. Return to **Settings → Integrations → Shipday** in your restaurant dashboard.
5. Check that the API key field contains the correct key.
6. Save the configuration if you make any changes.

Keep your API key private and do not share it in screenshots or support messages.

## 3. Check Automatic Dispatch Settings

If delivery orders are not being sent automatically to Shipday:

1. Open **Settings → Integrations** in your restaurant dashboard.
2. Open the Shipday configuration.
3. Check the **Auto-dispatch on accept** option.
4. Enable it if you want delivery orders to be sent automatically when you accept them.
5. Click **Save** if you change the setting.

If automatic dispatch is disabled, do not expect orders to be dispatched automatically through this option.

## 4. Verify Webhook Configuration

Webhooks allow delivery status updates from Shipday to synchronize with your restaurant orders.
If delivery status updates are not appearing, verify the webhook configuration.

1. Open the Shipday configuration in your restaurant dashboard.
2. Copy the **Webhook URL** provided there.
3. Log in to Shipday and navigate to **Settings → Webhook**.
4. Confirm that the webhook URL has been added correctly.
5. Copy the webhook token displayed by Shipday.
6. Return to your restaurant dashboard and check the **Webhook Token (from Shipday)** field.
7. Enter the correct token if necessary and click **Save**.

Make sure the webhook URL and token correspond to the correct integration.

## 5. Test the Integration Again

After checking the API key, automatic dispatch option, and webhook configuration:

1. Review the Shipday connection status.
2. Accept a suitable delivery order to test automatic dispatch, if enabled.
3. Check whether the order appears in Shipday.
4. Check whether delivery status updates synchronize with the restaurant dashboard.

Use an appropriate test order or coordinate with your delivery team to avoid affecting a live customer order.

## 6. Contact Support if the Issue Continues

If Shipday still does not work after completing these checks, contact your platform support team.

Provide the following information:

* A description of the issue.
* The affected order number, if applicable.
* The Shipday connection status shown in your dashboard.
* Whether automatic dispatch or webhook synchronization is affected.
* Screenshots of the relevant settings, with API keys and webhook tokens hidden.

## Important Notes

* Keep your API key and webhook token confidential.
* Do not share customer personal information unnecessarily.
* Menu labels may vary depending on your Shipday account interface.
* Avoid changing webhook settings or credentials without checking the existing configuration first.

## Quick Checklist

* Shipday connection status checked.
* API key verified.
* Auto-dispatch setting checked.
* Webhook URL verified.
* Webhook token verified.
* Order dispatch and status synchronization tested.
* Support contacted if the issue persists.
