# How to Set Different Delivery Charges for Different Zones

|| You can create multiple delivery zones and configure different delivery charges for each area. This helps you adjust delivery fees based on distance, location, and delivery requirements.

## Where to Find It

**Settings → Delivery → Delivery Zone**

## Steps to Configure Different Delivery Charges

### 1. Create or Edit a Delivery Zone

1. Go to **Settings → Delivery**.
2. Open the **Delivery Zone** tab.
3. Click **+ Add Delivery Zone** to create a new zone, or select **Edit zone** for an existing zone.
4. Enter the zone details and define its service area.

### 2. Configure Delivery Charges

1. Find the **Delivery charges** section.
2. Under **Delivery Charge Based On**, select your preferred pricing method:
   * **Flat fee for all orders:** Charge the same delivery fee for every eligible order in that zone.
   * **Delivery Distance (Km):** Calculate delivery charges using distance ranges.
   * **Order Value (₹):** Set delivery fees based on the customer's order value.
3. Enter the applicable delivery fees.
4. Configure the minimum order value and estimated delivery time if required.
5. Click **Save changes**.

### 3. Repeat for Other Zones

Create or edit each additional delivery zone and configure its delivery charges separately.

## Example

Suppose your restaurant serves two delivery areas:

| Setting | Zone A | Zone B |
| ---- | ---- | ---- |
| Delivery area | Nearby area | Farther area |
| Minimum order value | ₹199 | ₹299 |
| Flat delivery fee | ₹30 | ₹60 |
| Estimated delivery time | 20 minutes | 40 minutes |

With this setup, each zone has its own minimum order value, delivery fee, and estimated delivery time.

## Important Notes

* Configure the service area carefully for each zone.
* Select the appropriate delivery charge method for each zone.
* Review all settings before clicking **Save changes**.
* Use separate zones when different areas require different delivery pricing or conditions.
