# How to Set a Minimum Order Value for Dine-in

## Overview

The **Minimum Order Value** setting allows restaurant owners to define the minimum order amount required for dine-in orders. This helps establish a minimum spending requirement for the dine-in service.

## Where to Find It

Go to **Settings → Dine-in → Time & Charges**.

## How to Set the Minimum Order Value

1. Open the **Time & Charges** tab.
2. Locate **Minimum Order Value**.
3. Enter the minimum amount you want to require for dine-in orders.
4. Review the amount to ensure it matches your restaurant's policy.
5. Click **Save charges** to save your changes.

## Example

Suppose you set the Minimum Order Value to **₹200**.

This configures a minimum order amount of ₹200 for dine-in service. Check your storefront to confirm how the minimum requirement is displayed and applied during ordering.

## Important Notes

* Enter an amount that matches your restaurant's dine-in policy.
* Review the value before saving to avoid setting an incorrect minimum.
* If you do not want to enforce a minimum, check the field's supported behavior in your dashboard before deciding whether to leave it at zero or use another value.
* This setting is separate from delivery and takeaway minimum order settings.

## Final Step

Click **Save charges** and review the dine-in storefront to confirm that the setting is configured as intended.
