# How to Manage Delivery Scheduling

# How to Manage Delivery Scheduling

|| Delivery Scheduling allows you to control how far in advance customers can schedule delivery orders, the available time slots, and the number of orders accepted per slot.

## Where to Find It

**Settings → Delivery → Scheduling**

## 1. Enable Schedule Advance Orders

Enable **Schedule Advance Orders** to allow customers to place delivery orders for a future date and time.

## 2. Configure Scheduling Settings

### Minimum Time in Advance

Set how soon customers can schedule a delivery order. Enter a value and select the unit:

* **Minutes**
* **Hours**
* **Days**

Example: Set 30 minutes to require customers to schedule at least 30 minutes in advance.

### Maximum Time in Advance

Set how far ahead customers can schedule a delivery order, up to **30 days**.

Example: Set 7 days to allow customers to schedule deliveries up to one week ahead.

### Time Gap Between Slots

Choose the interval between available delivery time slots:

* 30 minutes
* 1 hour
* 2 hours
* 3 hours
* 4 hours

Example: If you select 30 minutes, customers may see slots such as 2:00–2:30 PM and 2:30–3:00 PM.

### First Order Offset (Minutes)

Set how many minutes after opening time the first scheduled delivery slot should begin.

Example: If delivery starts at 10:00 AM and the offset is 15 minutes, the first slot can begin at 10:15 AM.

### Show Slot as a Range

Enable this option to show customers a time range, such as **10:00–11:00 AM**.

If disabled, customers see only the slot's start time, such as **10:00 AM**.

### Allow Only Scheduled Orders

Enable this option if customers must select a future time slot instead of placing an immediate (ASAP) order.

If disabled, customers can place orders as soon as possible or schedule them for later, subject to the available options.

After configuring these settings, click **Save Scheduling**.

## 3. Configure Maximum Orders per Slot

Use **Max orders per slot** to limit how many orders can be accepted in each time slot.

* Enter the maximum number of orders you want to accept per slot.
* Set the value according to your kitchen capacity and delivery operations.
* Enter **0** for unlimited orders per slot.

Example: If you set the limit to 5, each time slot can accept up to five orders.

Click **Save** to apply the maximum order limit.

## Important Notes

* Customers can schedule orders only within the configured advance-time limits and available delivery hours.
* The time gap determines the spacing between available slots.
* The maximum order limit helps manage workload during busy periods.
* Save the scheduling settings and maximum order limit separately using their respective buttons.
