# How to Open or Close Your Restaurant

## Overview

You can control whether your restaurant is accepting orders at any time using the **Restaurant Open** toggle on your Dashboard. This is useful for managing unexpected closures, busy periods, or end-of-day shutdowns without changing your regular opening hours.

## How to Get There

Go to your restaurant's **Dashboard**. The **Restaurant Open** button is in the top-right corner of the page.

## Changing Your Restaurant Status

1. Click the **Restaurant Open** button (or whichever status is currently showing).
2. A dropdown menu will appear with three options:
    * **Open** — Your restaurant is live and accepting orders from customers. Select this to reopen your restaurant.
    * **Close manually** — Closes your restaurant immediately. Customers will not be able to place orders until you manually set it back to Open.
    * **Until next hours** — Temporarily closes your restaurant. It will reopen automatically when your next scheduled opening time begins.
3. Click your preferred option. The button label will update to reflect the new status.

| Tip: Use Until next hours for quick breaks or if you're temporarily overwhelmed with orders. Use Close manually if you need to stay closed until you decide to reopen.

|| Note: This toggle controls real-time availability and is separate from your weekly opening hours schedule, which you can set under Settings → Delivery / Takeaway / Dine-in → Opening hours.
