# How to Manage Takeaway Pickup Hours

|| Takeaway Pickup Hours allow you to set specific operating hours for customers who place pickup orders. 

This gives you control over when pickup service is available, independently from your restaurant's regular business hours.

### Where to Find Pickup Hours

Go to:

**Settings → Takeaway → Pickup Hours**

### 1. Enable Separate Pickup Hours

At the top of the **Pickup Hours** section, you will find:

**Set different operating hours for Pickup service**

Turn this option **ON** if you want pickup orders to follow different hours from your regular restaurant hours.
Once enabled, you can configure pickup availability for each day of the week.

### 2. Set Pickup Hours for Each Day

You can configure pickup hours separately for **Monday through Sunday**.

For each day, you can:

* **Open/Close** – Enable or disable pickup service for that day.
* **24 Hours** – Make pickup available throughout the entire day.
* **Opening Time** – Set when pickup orders can start.
* **Closing Time** – Set when pickup orders stop being accepted.

**Example:**

* Monday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM
* Tuesday: 24 Hours
* Wednesday: 9:00 AM – 10:00 PM

### 3. Add Multiple Pickup Time Slots

If your restaurant has different pickup periods during the day, click **+ Add slot** to create additional time slots.

For example:

* Lunch: 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM
* Dinner: 5:00 PM – 10:00 PM

This allows you to keep pickup unavailable during the break between the two time slots.

### 4. Use 24-Hour Pickup

If pickup service is available all day, enable the **24 Hours** option for that day.

The system will then consider pickup service available throughout the entire day.

### 5. Close Pickup Service for a Day

If pickup is not available on a particular day, turn the **Open** toggle off for that day.

For example, if your restaurant does not offer pickup on Sunday, you can disable Sunday pickup while keeping the other days active.

### Important: Default Business Hours

|| If Set different operating hours for Pickup service is not enabled, the system will automatically use the business hours configured in your Restaurant Profile when the business was created.

You only need to enable separate Pickup Hours if you want pickup service to follow different timings from your regular business hours.

**Example:**

If your Restaurant Profile business hours are:

**10:00 AM – 10:00 PM**

and separate Pickup Hours are not enabled, the system will automatically use:

**10:00 AM – 10:00 PM**

for pickup service.

### Quick Summary

Go to:

**Settings → Takeaway → Pickup Hours**

From here, you can:

* Enable separate pickup hours
* Set different hours for each day
* Mark pickup as open or closed
* Enable 24-hour pickup
* Add multiple pickup time slots
* Control when customers can place pickup orders

||| Note: If separate Pickup Hours are not enabled, the system will use the default business hours configured in the Restaurant Profile.
