# How to Manage Table Reservation Hours

# How to Manage Table Reservation Hours

## Overview

The **Book a table Hours** settings allow restaurant owners to configure the days and times when customers can request table reservations through the storefront.

You can set different operating hours for each day, mark specific days as closed, enable 24-hour availability, and add multiple time slots for the same day.

## Where to Find It

Go to **Settings → Table Reservation → Book a table Hours**.

## How to Configure Table Reservation Hours

### 1. Enable Separate Reservation Hours

Enable **Set different operating hours for Book a table service** to configure reservation hours separately from your restaurant's default business hours.

### 2. Configure Each Day

For every day from Monday to Sunday:

* **Open:** Enable or disable reservation availability for that day.
* **24 Hours:** Enable this option if reservations should be available throughout the day.
* **Hours:** Select the opening and closing times for reservation availability.

### 3. Add Multiple Time Slots

If your restaurant accepts reservations during separate periods, you can configure multiple time slots for the same day.

1. Set the first opening and closing time.
2. Click **+ Add slot**.
3. Select the opening and closing time for the additional slot.
4. Repeat if you need more slots.
5. Use the **X** button beside a slot to remove it if it is no longer required.

**Example:** If reservations are available from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM and again from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM, configure two separate time slots.

### 4. Set Closed Days

If your restaurant does not accept reservations on a particular day, disable the **Open** toggle for that day.

### 5. Save Your Changes

After reviewing the hours for all seven days, click **Save Hours** to apply your settings.

## Example Configuration

Suppose your restaurant accepts reservations during these hours:

* Monday: 9:00 AM–2:00 PM and 6:00 PM–10:00 PM
* Tuesday–Sunday: 9:00 AM–10:00 PM

Configure two slots for Monday and the appropriate hours for the remaining days. If a day is unavailable for reservations, disable its **Open** toggle.

## Important Notes

* These settings control table reservation availability, not necessarily your restaurant's opening hours for other services.
* Enabling separate reservation hours lets you configure the reservation schedule independently.
* Multiple slots are useful when reservations are accepted during separate periods.
* Available booking times are also affected by your **General** settings, including the time interval and booking lead time.
* Make sure the selected hours reflect when your restaurant can accept reservations.
* Always click **Save Hours** after making changes.

## Final Checklist

Before finishing, confirm that:

* Separate reservation hours are enabled if required.
* Each day's availability is correct.
* Opening and closing times are accurate.
* Multiple time slots are configured where needed.
* Closed days are disabled.
* You clicked **Save Hours**.
* The storefront displays the expected reservation availability.
