# How to Customize the Table Name on Your Dine-in Storefront

# How to Customize the Table Name on Your Dine-in Storefront

## Overview

Restaurant owners can customize the terminology used for dine-in service so it matches their preferred wording. If your dashboard provides a separate table-name terminology field, you can use it to adjust how tables are labelled on the storefront.

## Where to Find It

Go to **Settings → Dine-in → Terminology**.

## How to Customize the Table Name

1. Open the **Terminology** tab.
2. Look for a field specifically related to the table name or table terminology.
3. Enter your preferred wording, if the field is available.
4. Review the text to ensure it is clear and suitable for your restaurant.
5. Click **Save changes** to apply the update.

## Example

If your restaurant prefers the term **“Dining Table”** instead of **“Table,”** enter that wording in the relevant field if your dashboard supports this customization.

## Important Notes

* This article applies only if your dashboard provides a separate table-name terminology field.
* Do not confuse changing a table's displayed name with changing its actual table record in the **Tables** section.
* If no table-specific terminology field is available, use only the service terminology options displayed in your dashboard.
* Review the storefront after saving to confirm how the updated wording appears.

## Final Step

Save your changes and check the storefront to verify that the terminology is displayed as intended.
