# How to Control Which Menu Items Appear on the Catering Storefront

## Overview

Ressto allows restaurant owners to choose which menu items are available through the Catering service.

If the item selection is left empty, the Catering settings indicate that **all menu items will be offered**. This may explain why menu items appear on the catering storefront even when you have not selected specific items.

## Where to Find It

1. Log in to your Ressto admin dashboard.
2. Go to **Settings → Catering**.
3. Locate the **Catering items** section.

## Why Are All Menu Items Showing?

The Catering settings specify that an empty selection offers all menu items.

If you want to offer only selected items, configure the selection rather than leaving it empty.

## How to Offer Only Selected Menu Items

1. Open **Settings → Catering**.
2. Scroll to the **Catering items** section.
3. Use the **Search items...** field to find the menu item you want to offer.
4. Select the checkbox beside each required item.
5. Repeat for all the items you want to include.
6. Review the selected-item count.
7. Click **Save changes**.

## How to Verify the Selection

1. Open the Catering settings again.
2. Review the selected menu items.
3. Confirm that the intended items are selected.
4. Open your catering storefront and check the available items.

## Important Notes

* An empty selection means all menu items are offered, according to the settings shown in Ressto.
* **Select all** selects all available menu items.
* **Clear** removes the current selection; it does not mean that no items will be offered.
* Save your changes after updating the selection.
* Verify the storefront to confirm the result.
