   * HTML
   * WordPress
   * Webflow
   * Squarespace
   * Wix
3. Review the code displayed for the selected platform.
4. Click **Copy** to copy the code.

Choose the option that matches your website platform before copying the code.

## How to Add the Button to Your Website

Follow the instructions for your selected platform.

### HTML Website

1. Select **HTML** in the Legacy Website panel.
2. Copy the displayed code.
3. Open your website's HTML editor or the relevant page source.
4. Paste the code where you want the ordering button to appear.
5. Save your changes and check the page.

### WordPress, Webflow, Squarespace, or Wix

1. Select your website platform in the Legacy Website panel.
2. Copy the displayed code.
3. Open your website editor or the relevant code-embedding area.
4. Paste the code according to your website platform's supported method.
5. Save or publish your website changes.

The exact steps for adding custom code may vary depending on your website platform, plan, and editor permissions.

## How the Ordering Button Works

The copied code adds an ordering button, shown as **Order Now** by default in the example. When visitors click it, the ordering store opens in a popup, allowing them to access your restaurant's online ordering experience.
The displayed code may contain the storefront address and button appearance settings. Use the code provided by your own dashboard rather than copying code from an example.

## Verify Your Setup

After adding the button:

1. Open your existing website.
2. Locate the ordering button.
3. Click the button to confirm that the ordering store opens correctly.
4. Test the button on both desktop and mobile devices.
5. Confirm that customers can browse your menu and proceed with an order.

If the button does not appear or work correctly, check that the code was copied completely and added to a supported location on your website.

## Important Notes

* Use the code generated in your dashboard for your restaurant.
* Select the correct platform before copying the code.
* You may need access to your website's editor or custom-code settings.
* If you use a third-party website platform, follow its requirements for embedding scripts and buttons.

## Summary

The Legacy Website option lets you connect your existing website to your restaurant's online ordering store by copying and adding the generated ordering button code.
