# How to Add a Tip to a Delivery Order

|| Customers can add a tip when placing a delivery order through the restaurant's storefront. They can select one of the suggested tip amounts or enter a custom amount.

## Where to Find It

The **Tip** section appears during checkout when the restaurant has configured tip options.

## How to Add a Tip

1. Add your desired food items to the cart.
2. Select **Delivery** as the service type.
3. Continue to the checkout page.
4. Scroll to the **Tip** section.
5. Choose one of the available options:
   * **No tip:** No tip is added.
   * **Preset amount:** Select a suggested amount, such as ₹10, ₹20, or ₹30.
   * **Custom:** Enter your preferred tip amount.
6. Review the updated bill summary.
7. Continue placing your order.

## Example

Suppose your food order subtotal is ₹630 and you select a ₹20 tip.

The selected tip adds ₹20 to the order, subject to the restaurant's checkout calculations and any applicable charges.

## Important Notes

* The available tip amounts depend on the restaurant's tip settings.
* Customers can choose **No tip** if they do not want to leave a tip.
* The tip section may not appear if the restaurant has not configured any tip presets.
* Review the final bill summary before placing your order.
