# How Login Modes Appear on the Storefront

## How Login Modes Appear on the Storefront

When you select **Guest + Email login**, the storefront provides customers with both options.

On the storefront sign-in page, customers can:

* **Sign In:** Existing customers can enter their email and password to sign in.
* **Create an Account:** New customers can create an account.
* **Continue as Guest:** Customers can continue without signing in to an account.

### How Guest Checkout Works

1. Select **Guest + Email login** under **Settings → Customer Sign-in**.
2. Click **Save changes**.
3. Open the customer-facing storefront.
4. Click **Sign In** to view the sign-in page.
5. Customers can choose **Sign In**, **Create an Account**, or **Continue as Guest**.
6. When customers choose **Continue as Guest**, they can proceed without signing in and provide the contact information configured under **Guest checkout cart fields** during checkout.

### Important Notes

* **Guest + Email login** displays both account-based access and the guest checkout option.
* **Guest only — no email login** allows customers to order without email-based account login.
* **Email login only — no guest** requires customers to sign in before placing orders and does not offer guest checkout.
* The options displayed on the storefront depend on the selected login mode.
