# How Dine-in Business Hours Affect Storefront Availability

## Overview

|| Where to Find ItDine-in business hours determine when your restaurant is available for dine-in service. Configuring the correct hours helps ensure that the storefront displays appropriate availability for your restaurant's operating schedule.


Go to **Settings → Dine-in → Dining Hours**.

## How to Configure Storefront Availability

1. Open the **Dining Hours** tab.
2. Enable **Set different operating hours for Jade & Ember Dining service** if you want to configure separate dine-in hours.
3. Enable the **Open** toggle for each day when dine-in service is available.
4. Set the opening and closing times for each day.
5. Use **24 Hours** if dine-in service operates throughout the entire day.
6. Click **+ Add slot** if your restaurant has multiple operating periods on the same day.
7. Click **Save Hours** to save your settings.

## How These Settings Affect Your Storefront

* **Open day:** Dine-in service is enabled for that day, subject to the configured schedule and other service settings.
* **Closed day:** Dine-in service is disabled for that day.
* **Multiple time slots:** Separate operating periods can be configured for services such as lunch and dinner.
* **24-hour availability:** Allows you to configure dine-in hours for the entire day.

## Example

If your restaurant offers dine-in service from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM, configure both time slots. This represents your two operating periods rather than one continuous opening period.

## Important Notes

* Dine-in business hours and advance scheduling are separate settings. Customers' available booking or ordering times may also depend on your scheduling configuration.
* Review the **Scheduling** tab if you need to configure how far in advance dine-in orders can be scheduled.
* If separate dine-in hours are disabled, check your restaurant's default business hours to understand which hours apply.
* Avoid assuming that changing dine-in hours also changes delivery or takeaway hours; configure those services separately when needed.

After saving your business hours, review your storefront and verify that dine-in availability matches your intended schedule.
