# Bulk Upload Menu Items Using CSV

# Bulk Upload Menu Items Using CSV

The **Bulk Upload Menu Items** feature allows you to add or update multiple menu items at once using a CSV spreadsheet. This saves time compared to adding each menu item individually.

### Step 1: Go to Menu
From the sidebar, click **Menu**. On the Menu page, you will find the **Bulk Upload** option. Click **Bulk Upload** to open the bulk upload window and begin uploading multiple menu items using a CSV file.

### Step 2: Download a Template

Click **Sample Template (CSV)** to download a spreadsheet with the required format.

You can also click **Download Current Menu** if you want to download your existing menu, make changes, add new items, and upload it again.

### Step 3: Fill in the CSV File

Open the downloaded CSV file and enter or update the menu item information according to the provided columns.

* Add new menu items in new rows.
* Update existing items where required.
* Keep the column structure unchanged.
* Save the completed file in **CSV format**.

### Step 3: Upload the CSV

Return to the **Bulk Upload Menu Items** window and upload your completed file.

You can either:
* **Drag and drop** the CSV file into the upload area, or
* **Click the upload area** to browse and select the file.

The file must be in **.CSV format** and should not exceed **5 MB**

### Step 4: Review and Continue

After uploading the CSV, click **Continue to Review** to check the information before applying the changes.

Review any errors or missing information and make corrections in the CSV if required.


| Always download the Sample Template first and follow its column format. Before uploading, double-check prices, categories, item names, and other details to avoid errors.
